Summary:
Sixteen-year-old physics nerd Aysel is obsessed with plotting her own death. With a mother who can barely look at her without wincing, classmates who whisper behind her back, and a father whose violent crime rocked her small town, Aysel is ready to turn her potential energy into nothingness.
There’s only one problem: she’s not sure she has the courage to do it alone. But once she discovers a website with a section called Suicide Partners, Aysel’s convinced she’s found her solution: a teen boy with the username FrozenRobot (aka Roman) who’s haunted by a family tragedy is looking for a partner.
Even though Aysel and Roman have nothing in common, they slowly start to fill in each other’s broken lives. But as their suicide pact becomes more concrete, Aysel begins to question whether she really wants to go through with it. Ultimately, she must choose between wanting to die or trying to convince Roman to live so they can discover the potential of their energy together. Except that Roman may not be so easy to convince.
My thoughts:
OMG! This book sounds really intriguing! A girl who wants to suicide until she meets this guy online. I think she falls in love with him and suddenly she's not sure she wants to end her life anymore. OMG!!! I need this book right now! Plus, the cover is so beautiful!

Sunday: Books I'm hoping to read this week!
Hello everyone,
I know I failed my TBR last week but I'm going to try my best to read all the books in this TBR list this week.
-Le Survenant by Germaine Guevremont (Book for French class)
-The Man Test by Amanda Aksel(Book for review)
I'm going to ditch the books I bought for myself for awhile and read the books I've received for review. I have a lot to read, not that I'm complaining. I love to read and review books, I just wish I didn't have a ton of exams at the same time! But it's life. Gotta deal with it.
Have a nice week guys!
xx

UPDATES & Weekly Wrap-Up!
Hey everyone,
I hope you're all having a great time. I just wanted to announce that I won't be doing "Favorite Quotes" every Friday anymore. The reason is that I don't think it's necessary since I include my favorite quotes in my book reviews most of the time. I'm also really busy with exams and books I have to read for review. Hopefully I'll do well in my upcoming evaluations so I won't feel guilty reading books.
This week I haven't read much because I've been studying. If I wasn't studying I was thinking too much about not getting stuff done on time.
Next week will be even more tough with three big exams and one mini-test. I'll also post my review of Her Gaze by Angel A. next Thursday, an ARC I received.
I honestly can't wait for February to come!
xx

Review: Legend(Legend #1) by Marie Lu

Read: January 2015
Pages: 305
Rating: 5/5
Summary:
What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. Born into an elite family in one of the Republic's wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a prodigy being groomed for success in the Republic's highest military circles. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Day is the country's most wanted criminal. But his motives may not be as malicious as they seem.
From very different worlds, June and Day have no reason to cross paths - until the day June's brother, Metias, is murdered and Day becomes the prime suspect. Caught in the ultimate game of cat and mouse, Day is in a race for his family's survival, while June seeks to avenge Metias's death. But in a shocking turn of events, the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together, and the sinister lengths their country will go to keep its secrets.
My review:
OMG!
Oh how I wish I read this book sooner. A lot of people were talking about how good it was and I don't understand why I decided to pick it up just now. There must be something wrong with me, don't you think? haha x)
Before I read this book, I predicted so many things in my head and I started comparing it to the Hunger Games or Divergent without even reading it. Many bloggers/booktubers kept saying it that's why.I shouldn't have listen! GUYS! Don't compare this to any of those books because this is different.
I loved how brave and clever the two main characters were. June is an absolute kickass character and Day...well I thought he really was a criminal but he was actually just doing everything to protect his family and I loved that about him. All the characters in this book were all very interesting to read about and it just sucks that June's brother had to die because he was such a nice guy even though he only appeared in the beginning.
I'm so glad I read this book. It was a fun and easy read that anyone can pick up. I highly recommend it. The story was well structured and very intriguing. You'll enjoy it!

Waiting On Wednesday #2
Genre: YA Fantasy
Publication date: January 27th, 2015
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Pages: 256
| Goodreads |
Summary:
In this stunning bridge book between Cress and Winter in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles, Queen Levana’s story is finally told.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?
Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her “glamour” to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story – a story that has never been told . . . until now.
Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death. This extraordinary book includes full-color art and an excerpt from Winter, the next book in the Lunar Chronicles series.
My thoughts:
I haven't started reading the Luner Chronicles series but I really want to read them. This cover is absolutely gorgeous and the summary sounds really interesting. It makes me want to start this series! I just need to pass all of my exams first xD

Sunday: Book I'm hoping to read this week
Hey guys!
I had to edit this post because the last one was not well done. I did it quickly on my Ipad last Sunday because I was watching the Golden Globes. I'm sorry.
Anyways, I really want to read a lot of books this week but sadly I can't because of many exams coming up. For "Le Survenant" by Germaine Guèvremont, the book I'm obligated to read for French class, I'm reading one chapter a day and I think that's a pretty smart thing to do because I basically have to re-read a chapter twice before knowing what actually happened in that chapter. I'm having a hard time understanding D:
I'm going to finish reading 32 seconds by Johanna K. Pitcairn, an ebook I received for review, later tonight.
***
I'm writing a story called "Reason to Love". It's a NA Contemporary Romance. I 'm thinking of writing a trilogy but I'm not sure how this story will end yet. I wrote a big part of the first chapter but I'm not sure I'll post it anytime soon. I will edit it as best as I could and post it on Wattpad. This are the three main characters of my story.
