Summary:
From #1 "New York Times "bestselling author Abbi Glines comes a brand-new Rosemary Beach novel about Tripp Newark and his hidden romantic past with Bethy Lowry.

In the eyes of the wealthy playboys who frequent Kerrington Country Club in Rosemary Beach, Tripp Newark is a hero. Under pressure from his parents to become a lawyer and lead a conservative, upper-class life, Tripp disappeared from town five years ago to travel the world, forfeiting the opportunity to inherit millions. Yet few know what he was really running from...

Bethy Lowry was unraveling long before her boyfriend drowned in a riptide trying to save her after she'd had one too many drinks--again. A trailer park kid working as a cart girl among the wealthy patrons of Kerrington Country Club, Bethy has always been impressionable. But five years ago, before she earned her reputation as a hard-drinking, easy girl, she had spent a single summer with Tripp Newark that changed her life forever...

My review:

Finally read this book I've been waiting since I finished Simple Perfection! This novel was so good' I loved Tripp so damn much, not that I didn't like him in the Perfection Duology but I got to really know more about him in You Were Mine and I just really fell in love with his character. His speech on Woods and Della's wedding was priceless. It was one of my favorite scenes in the book. He was hilarious!

"I'd become someone completely different from the girl he'd left behind."
I loved seeing how Bethy's character changed during this whole series. From Fallen Too Far to You Were Mine, she completely changed. When I first 'met' her, I thought she was a slut and when she started dating Jace for real, I thought maybe Jace changed her or her love for him changed her but I was wrong. She had a past with Jace's cousin Tripp and that completely surprised me. I cried like a baby when Jace died and I thought Abbi was going to write a book about Bethy and Jace but no. Jace left and that sucked because I really really liked his character. However, it doesn't remove the fact that I love Tripp.

I think  that twist was a good one because it didn't really make readers don't want to read the next book, it made them want to read more and know what happened to both Tripp and Bethy when they were younger. Their story was really amazing and inspiring. It showed the readers that when two people are meant to be together, fate will always find a way to bring them back together again. It also showed us that it isn't always bad to give love a second chance. First loves are hard to forget especially on Bethy and Tripp's experience and I was so glad they ended up together again because even if their faces only exist in my head, I know what a cute and perfect couple they are.

Again, I applaud Abbi Glines for writing another impeccable romance book I gave it five out of five stars again. I read it in a day and it doesn't surprise me anymore. When I read an Abbi Glines book I know I'm going to live it and that I wouldn't regret buying or reading her books. They are all amazing and they are all worth reading. I highly highly recommend reading one of her books, you won't regret it!
