So, Day 3. I'm completely failing this Rainbowthon as you already know. I've decided to give myself another goal for this read-a-thon and that is to read seven books before Monday June 22nd. 

Today, I've finished reading The Vincent Brothers by Abbi Glines and I gave it a 4.5/5 stars rating. I might as well write a review on it. 

I'm currently reading Collide by Gail McHugh and I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow.

Rainbow Read-A-Thon Day 2

Day 2 was basically me trying to figure out what I really want to read. I changed my tbr for this readathon. I know. I know. It's just that I don't want to read something I'm not in the mood for. For example, I don't feel like reading Blood Red Road at the moment. I don't feel like reading Something Like Fate either. I will keep How I Live Now and The Conspiracy Of Us in the list though.

So, I was in a mood for Abbi Glines and I really wanted to read The Vincent Boys who has been sitting on my shelf for a week now and every time I stare at it, I always feel like picking it up. I also read this book because I knew I could finish it in jsut a few hours. That always happen when it comes to Abbi Glines' books. I love her books so much, except love triangles. Like Breathe, I gave the Vincent Boys a 3/5 stars because of the love triangle. There are some love triangles I actually liked, but this is jsut one of those books where I didn't like how 'the two boys and one girl' relationship  turned out. 

I will probably write a review on the Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines. I will... hopefully. I can't promise anything.

Rainbow Read-A-Thon Day 1

So Day 1 was a successful day. I started and finished reading Keep Holding On by Susane Colasanti. I ended up giving it a 3/5 stars.

What I liked:

- Fast-paced

- Characters 

What disappointed me:

- Her mom wasn't around much, but I wanted to know more about her

- Everything was just going too fast and there were a lot of things that I wanted to know more about, but they weren't described much in the book. 

I also started reading How I Live Now by Meg Rossof.

I continued reading Easy by Tammara Webber. I know it's not part of my Rainbow Read-A-Thon TBR pile, but I started reading it last week and I want to finish it as soon as possible. 

Today, I read a total of 215 pages.

Rainbow Read-A-Thon TBR!

This is going to be a challenge because I'm going to be a little busy this week, but at the same time I really want to read these books!

The first book that I'm planning on reading and that I chose for the color Orange and Yellow is "How I Live Now" by Meg Rossof. 

I first heard about this on one of Ariel Bisset's videos and if I remember correctly, she liked or loved it. I can't wait to read this short book and I really have high expectations on this one I hope it won't disappoint  me. 

I chose this book for the color BLUE!

The Conspiracy Of Us by Maggie Hall was given to me by my lovely friend Tamara on my 18th birthday last month.  I never heard about this book before, but I looked it up on GR and it doesn't really have a high rating. However, I want to read it and judge after. 

I haven't read any of Susane Colasanti's works, so when I found this at the library I didn't hesitate to pick it up. It looks like a very interesting love triangle and I can't wait to finally read it. This book is for the color Purple.

Blood Red Road by Moira Young for the color RED.

This was recommended to me by my only friend who reads the same books as I do. I started reading it last year, but I just couldn't get into it because of the writing style. Although, a lot of readers really liked it and I'm willing to give it another chance, 

I picked this up along with Something Like Fate at the library because like I said, I never read anything by Susane Colasanti and I think it's about time to finally start reading her books. I chose this book for the color Green.

My reaction when I first read the summary of this book.

I was really intrigued and I couldn't wait to read it. I received an ARC, but then I couldn't find it on my kindle app. So that was annoying.

I bought it so no worries ;D

Anyways, let's start with the actual book review shall we?

I read this in just a few hours so that really means a lot. I don't really know how to rate this book or how to describe how I felt throughout the whole story because in the beginning I was totally intrigued then scared, disgusted, scared, disgusted and so on.

In the beginning I didn't know how he can be such a bad guy because he was actually really nice and fine. The kissing scenes and how he treated her in the beginning got my heart beating like

Then Haley realized that she married a total stranger and she's going to have to deal with it for the rest of her life. Jude's personality changed and I was totally disgusted by his acts. Totally DISGUSTED!

He's so cruel and I was literally scared. I really felt like I was in Haley's place and I was living with that monster. For the most part, I was disgusted and scared for Haley. I wanted to cry at some point because of how Jude was hurting her.

This was like a roller coaster ride.I felt all kinds of emotions. I've never read anything like this before.

You're probably wondering if I liked it or not... Well let me tell you this...

OF COUUUUUUUUUUUURSE I LOVED IT! Well, not Jude and definitely not the whole abuse theme, but the writing and the emotions it made me feel was pretty impressive. It's hard to write something and make readers feel connected to the story and the characters. So I'm pretty satisfied with Dori Lavelle's work and I can't wait for more!

This was given to me by Entangled in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book of the Kissed by Death series. However, I haven't read the first two books. In the beginning, I was a little confused, but after a couple of chapters I couldn't stop reading. So, you can read this book as a stand alone.

This was a fast-paced book and that's one of the reasons why I really like it. I loved the characters and the love story. I really enjoyed reading about this new world and I'd like to know more about it in the other books of this series.

The author's writing style was amazing. I love how simple but rich her sentences were. Like I said, I love the world she created and the characters as well.

I recommend it to all the readers who love paranormal romance and fast-paced books.
